Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with developing and/or updating Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) models for the commercial nuclear plants.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • S. degree in engineering from and accredited institution or PE license
  • 5 years nuclear power plant experience
  • Knowledge of probabilistic risk-assessment is required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform PRA logic model update
  • Review DCP for impact on various PRA models (e.g., internal events, internal flooding, fire, and seismic)
  • Review procedure changes for impact on various PRA models (e.g., internal events, internal flooding, fire, and seismic)
  • Review procedure changes for impact on various PRA models (e.g., internal events, internal flooding, fire, and seismic)
  • Review and/or update PRA notebooks
  • Review or revise the existing PRA procedures.

 

Estimated Start Date: ASAP

Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: 12 months
