Fire Protection and / or HVAC / Ventilation Test Engineer – Vogtle 3&4, SNC AP1000 ITP Team – Waynesboro, GA
Work Environment: office setting, construction site, field work, exposure to heat/cold
Will require field work – physical requirements include: bending, climbing, crawling, and lifting. Some shift work will be required.
Qualifications: Experience in preparing, reviewing, field implementation, and closure of Nuclear power plant initial test program component and preoperational test procedures and test packages. Individuals must be able to be qualified as a test engineer per NQA-1-1994.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Individuals are desired with backgrounds testing and troubleshooting mechanical, overhead cranes, electrical, Fire Protection and HVAC / Ventilation systems and components and / or I&C and distributed control systems is preferred. Individuals must have experience using Microsoft Office products (particularly Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements: Some bending, climbing, crawling, and lifting will be required. Shift work will be required.
Estimated Start Date: 2 weeks upon offer
Estimated Duration of Work Assignment: 1 year (annual extension possible)
Work Schedule: 60 to 72 hours per week with Day shift, Night shift rotation
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Per Diem: $93.94 / day ($657.60 per week)
Mob / Demob: $500.00 each ($1,000 total)
