Per Diem: Reimbursed in accordance with LANL travel Policy (up to $600/week), plus Bluestone adds $6 extra per hour ($9/OT hour) to help with expenses.

On-Site full time (Also entertaining Remote/Hybrid Schedule)

Performs routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Requires a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices and the exercise of professional judgment within the framework of established guidelines. May have leadership responsibility for less experienced construction engineers. May be specializing in a single field or area, or assuming a lead role in a specific segment of a construction project.
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline or specialized courses in engineering disciplines, and/or 8 years actual work experience and certifications leading to the thorough understanding of the knowledge described above or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level, post graduate course work may be desirable.

Directive 206.2 – Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating the employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2. Please note that this requirement applies only to citizens of the United States. Foreign nationals are subject to a similar requirement under DOE Order 142.3A.
Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon position, additional authorization to access nuclear weapons information may be required that may or may not be available to dual citizens depending upon the circumstances.
*Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
