Work Location: Virginia
Job Summary:
This will support a $300 million heat exchanger project. Contractor Will be responsible for site welding performance as well as working with/acting as an owner’s liaison to multiple manufacturing firms responsible for delivering a finished product. This position will support capital projects.
Duties will include manufacturability reviews, process selection and definition, supplier assessment and recommendation, failure analysis, weld inspection, and welding procedure development. Position will report to manager of site projects.
Required Education and Certifications / Licenses:
- Must have 10+ yrs of utility experience.
- Experience with prior SGR/Heat Exchanger work is a huge plus. ASME BPVC Section III experience preferred.
- Must have 10+ yrs of welding oversight/management on large capital projects.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs and walk around a site as needed
