7th Annual Citizens of Georgia Power Sporting Clays Tournament – Graniteville, SC October 18.
BCP will be sponsoring this event which serves to support the Turn Back The Block, Burn Foundation of America & Golden Harvest Food Bank charities. Turn Back the Block works in the Harrisburg community, in Augusta, GA, on a block-by-block basis to create affordable home ownership opportunities where abandoned homes and vacant lots once stood. Families and individuals willing to contribute sweat equity and complete housing counseling are afforded the opportunity to own a home. The Burn Foundation of America provides assistance to families being treated at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctor’s hospital in Augusta, GA. This includes lodging, daily meals and transportation – all free of charge. The Golden Harvest Food Bank provides quality food and groceries to hungry individuals across their 30-county service area in Georgia.
